歌手の浜崎あゆみさん（３２）が、米国内で１日（日本時間２日）、同国在住のオーストリア国籍の俳優、マニュエル・シュワルツさん（３０）と結婚した。所属事務所が明らかにした。

昨年８月に米ロサンゼルスで収録されたミュージックビデオで共演したことをきっかけに、交際していたという。

浜崎さんは１９９８年歌手デビュー。０１～０３年、日本レコード大賞３連覇を達成するなど日本ポップス界をけん引してきた。また若い女性のファッションリーダー的存在として人気を集めている。０８年１月には左耳の聴力を失ったことを明らかにしている。

児童養護施設などにマンガ「タイガーマスク」の主人公・伊達直人を名乗って贈り物をする現象が広がる中、千葉県内でも１１日、君津市の児童相談所と ファミリーホームに、現金１００万円と図書カードがそれぞれ贈られた。千葉市の施設にもランドセルが届いた。贈り主は伊達直人を名乗ったり、「伊達直人に 影響された」と話したりしていたという。

県などによると、１１日午後１時半ごろ、君津市の君津児童相談所に、６０代くらいの男性が封筒に入れた現金１００万円を持って訪れた。男性は「伊達直人 に影響され、県内の児童福祉施設にいる子どもたちがランドセルや必要なものを買うために使ってくれれば、と思って持ってきた」と話し、職員に現金を手渡し た。名前や住所は明かさなかったという。

この男性はまず富津市役所を訪れ、職員に「知事に渡したい」と告げた。その際児相を紹介されたという。

報告を受けた県児童家庭課は「非常にありがたい。本人の意思をくんで有効に使いたい」と話し、寄付金は県の子ども支援に関わる事業の予算に入れるという。

同じく君津市で、里親が幼児から小学生まで６人の子どもを育てるファミリーホーム「ひろせホーム」には、図書カード１万円分が届いた。里親の広瀬タカ子 さん（６３）によると、１１日午後１時半ごろ、ポストの前に立っていた男性が乗用車で走り去るのを偶然見た夫の正さん（６６）がポストを確認すると、図書 カード入りの封筒があったという。

同封された手紙には「君津の伊達直人」の名で「少しですが、良かったらお使いください」というメッセージが書かれていた。子どもたちは「すごい、うちに も届いた」と喜んでいたという。タカ子さんは「会ってお礼がしたいが、名前を出せない事情もあるんだろう。子どもたちの好きな本が買えるようになってよ かった」と話す。

Drinking. It’s almost impossible to refrain from it in Japan.

In fact, I believe I drank more alcohol in my first year here in the country than I did in my entire five-year college career.

飲兵衛（のんべえ）： Drunkard; heavy drinker

大酒飲み（おおさけのみ）： Hard drinker

飲んだくれ（のんだくれ）： Problem drinker

アル中（アルコール依存症）： Alcoholic

泥酔（でいすい）： Dead drunk; three sheets to the wind

酩酊（めいてい）： Intoxicated

Perusing my other blog for N1 level JLPT grammar, I noticed an entry for 絡み（からみ； -related）. This is especially useful when trying to explain that something is related to another thing.

A typical sentence would look something like this:

例：　アルーコール絡みで死んだ。

英訳：　He died of alcohol-related causes.

One caveat is that, according to the various example sentences, 絡み appears to be used mainly in sentences with negative implications.
